    The Persian term for 'Castling' in Chess is 'Shah Rukh'.

    'Castling' is a special move in the game of Chess involving the King, and either of the original Rooks of the same colour.

    Castling involves a combination of a 'King' move and a 'Rook' move.

    In Chess, the King is called 'Shah' and the Rook is called 'Rukh'.

    Hence, 'Shah Rukh'.

    The Persian names for Chess pieces are Shah (King), Farzin (Counsellor), Pil (Bishop), Asp (Knight), Rukh (Rook), and Piyada (Pawn).


    In India, Chess pieces are called Shah (King), Wazir (Counsellor), Fil (Bishop), Asp (Knight), Rukh (Rook), and Piyada (Pawn).


    In Arabic, Chess Pieces are called Shah (King), Firzan (Counsellor), Fil (Bishop), Faras (Knight), Rukhkh (Rook), and Baidaq (Pawn).

    'Shah Rukh' is the Persian term for 'Castling' in Chess.

    Shahrukh Khan's elder sister's name 'Lala Rukh' means 'Tulip cheeked' in Persian.
