'Night Shift' is the first collection of short stories by Stephen King, first published in 1978. Many of King's most famous short stories were included in this collection.
The book also featured a previously unpublished short story 'Quitters, Inc.'
A 1985 film starring a very young Drew Barrymore was based on three short stories by Stephen King, including 'Quitters, Inc.'
In "Quitters, Inc.", a cat is picked up by a shady New York "Doctor" who uses experimental techniques to get people to "Quit something". His latest client is a man named Morrison, who learns he'll suffer some terrible consequences if he tries to cheat.
A Hindi film released in 2007 was also based on 'Quitters, Inc.'
